IronGate is designed to perform a single function: sending an access command for an authorized building entry system. The app is intended to minimize data use and does not require a public user account system for its basic functionality.
By default, the app is not intended to collect personal data for advertising or analytics purposes. Configuration data entered by the user, such as connection settings, may be stored locally on the user’s device only to enable the app to function properly.
Locally stored configuration values are used only for app functionality, such as connecting to the authorized access-control system and sending commands requested by the user.
The app is not intended to sell user data or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes. Data may be transmitted only to the user-configured access-control infrastructure necessary for the app’s operation.
Access may optionally be protected through biometric authentication provided by the device. Users are responsible for securing access to their device and maintaining control of the building access credentials and infrastructure they configure.
